I usually develop websites and apps using Laravel, and I’ve been doing it for a while… But a few days ago a friend asked me to build him a website, an online brochure type thing, where he occasionally adds new products and logos to the homepage but no blog or stories functionality. His only condition being that he wants to host it on his Bluehost account. So Laravel is not an option, and it seems I am left with several options, none of which is particularly appealing: WordPress (overkill for a simple brochure website) Vue SPA (maintainability hell) Simple HTML (also maintainability hell) I want something that he can hire an intern to update for him and add the occasional image or text, so it excludes everything that requires a build process, and I guess I need some kind of CMS… This seems like a common enough scenario for people in this space, so what are you guys using? Am I missing something? – by hq overview aboustayyef – –
