first off, I apologize if this is the wrong sub for this as im not sure where to post. So my wife owns a beauty shop which focuses mainly on lash extensions. She’s a qualified lash tech (went to school for it) and then trained someone she knew when the business grew as a second employee for the growing client base. All was going well with my wife paying the employee a generous 50% commission (above average compared to most lash shops here) but now the employee’s work habits have gotten lazy, dishonest and unprofessional. (The employee is also asking for a raise constantly and work habits gets worse as we deny the raise) My wife wants to find a new employee but training someone takes a long time with no guarantee that they will be an exceptional employee worth the cost and time of training. However, we have no idea where to find these qualified employees and I would love recommendations. Is there a website, or process we can try out? We have tried talking with our employee about her work but it has not improved, and in the future we will need a third employee anyway. Thanks for reading and any help is appreciated! – by hq overview wot-in-ternation – –
