My friend is new to web development and is using a text input rather than a password input for a HTTP site. I pointed this out and the problem of people looking over the users’ shoulders and he wrote: I fixed that but then got a message that the log in was insecure (due to not being HTTPS) so I removed it because I don’t want to freak my testers out He doesn’t seem interested in setting up HTTPS for his development site….
