Hi everyone, I married into a family business that was started in 1954, and my coworker who has worked here for 44 years essentially doesn’t even use email. The computers and programs are mostly pretty outdated and I’m doing what I can, as a non-technical person, to update things around here. We’re currently using Windows 7 Professional, but it looks like Quickbooks (which is also an old version) will stop working with that Windows version in January 2020. Guessing I need to download Windows 10 at this point. This is where I become clueless (I’m more of an Apple person). I assume I have to pay for Windows 10 Professional and that it’s not a free upgrade? If I buy it on one computer and download it there, I don’t have to purchase it again for a second computer, right? Also, how do I ensure that our computers are not antiquated enough to handle this update? We have Dells and it looks like intel Core i7 vPro (Reg Model D11S). Thanks, in advance, for your help! – by hq overview dctxn – –
