I’ve been doing front end development for about 6 years. I basically have been building out the front end for WordPress sites (from scratch), and static html, css and js websites during that time. However, in the next couple years, I’ll probably be jumping ship to another gig as I want to start building webapps with React instead. Just sucks because my current gig doesn’t do React, or webapps for that matter. If I jump ship in a couple years, that’ll be 8 years experience as a front end developer. However, when it comes to React, I’ll probably be a junior, because I’ve never had a full time job that utilizes it. Should I be applying for junior front end developer roles then, if they’re focused on React? Or, even with minimal React experience (I’ve built two Gatsby websites, and two mini webapps on the side with React), would I be “good enough” to not be a Junior with React at that point? Thanks in advance! – by hq overview jd0909 – –
