Hi everyone! Just came across this program online and it seems super interesting to me. Here’s a bit about my background:

Undergrad School: Small liberal arts college in Pennsylvania, relatively unknown in tech as a first-gen student

Undergrad Major: Information Systems and Business (I did some basic coding courses in Python, JavaScript, and SQL and college-level stats and some MBA-level courses in Ops and Supply Chain all in 2.5 years.)

    Undergrad GPA: 3.96

Internship Experiences: A mix of business analytics and project management roles at top financial services (BlackRock, Coinbase) and Fortune 500 manufacturing companies.

Current Role: I’m working at Microsoft as a Business Program Manager (since last September) on a lot of the digital marketing campaigns for our support offerings.

I’m extremely interested in this program since I’d love to switch into a more technical role (Product Manager, Data Analytics) and don’t have a lot of the data structures, algorithms, and more CS-heavy courses that they look for combining with my current business experiences.

Do I have a shot at this program? Would I need to do anything to possibly strengthen my application? I’m also thinking about the OMSA Program at Georgia Tech and wasn’t sure if I would be better suited for one versus another.
