    As others have said, you can set up a local server / localhost. There are free programs for this. XAMPP and WAMP were mentioned and will work. I have used them and am now using [Laragon](https://laragon.org), which is easier to set up and has good features. (Runs on Windows). Local by Flywheel has also gotten a lot of good press.
