    Magento is super difficult to rank, so I would remove them completely BECAUSE you are using Magento. When I work on websites I either remove them completely from the meta data before starting or if it is a brand new website I do not add any.

    You already have a rougher time ranking then say you had a WordPress site, but with Magento you have to do EVERYTHING possible because you are behind the 8-ball.

    Remove them on a few pages, and see if those pages move up. Good baseline to see if they are personally harming you. Good luck!
